Chocolate & card class

Enjoyed another card class at Sally's shop tonight!
A lot of laughing and giggling!

First card involved a lot of folding and I love the end result.

I will use the idea of the folded 6' by 6' centre piece on other simpler cards.

I am also trying to figure out how to do a more complicated card with it.

not sure how easy it will be.

This tag card is for a lovely friend who is having a hard time just now,
the smaller tag is shrink plastic we used chalk inks on to match the card.

Just want to send a hug to her, and thought this was a sweet way to do it.

The smaller tag is shrink plastic.
We used chalk inks on it and sukura pen.

the verse reads

Hugging is healthy
it boosts your immunity.
Invigorates, comforts,
and reduces stress.
A hug is pure & organic,
low fat, naturally sweet,
fully returnable
and absolutely free !

I got home and the house smelt absolutely heavenly!
My hubby had made chocolate brownies with white chocolate chips in them!!

Very much not low fat but absolutely heavenly!

sshhhhhhh!!!

well since Andrew was sleeping off a night shift that ment I needed to stay quiet.
So no hovering or house work for me this morning.

Sp decided to put good use to some stamped images I had laying around after the clear up.
This one is for a spoonful of sugar who are looking for blooming marvelous and also for Arty girlz Challenge who want you to use a quote in your card this week.

I found some beautiful quotes by Helen Keller but this one seemed to fit the card.

" the best most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched
~ the must be felt with the heart. "

It is using one of Sammi's Angelique who is a wee sweetie.

This one is for My Time to Craft Challenge and they wanted a card from it's raining, it's pouring.
I forgot how much I loved this wee hedgehog from Hobby Arts.
And I used the same image stamped on shrink plastic.

It also managed to use up some of the huge amount of lemon gingham ribbon that I seem to have accumulated.

I love the new Sugar Nellie Soft Centre stamps and scardy cat Braveheart is just perfect for this Birthday Card.
I used the sketch #25 from Sktech Saturday Challenge for the layout.

It is not exactly how the sketch is as I had to move the paw print ribbon over a wee bit so you could see the pattern so the cat dose not sit on it as the sketch asked for...but I think it looks ok.

Last picture is a wonderful surprise I recieved in the post today from the lovely Linda!

Thank you very much ! You are so sweet !!!

Am off to card class in a bit ! Have a lovely evening xxx
