love is.......

Few cards from me today,
I know, I know....
nothing from me in weeks and then....
well you know the rest !

Was my Mam & Dad's Wedding Anniversary
yesterday and this was the simple card I made them.
The backing paper is a tea green in colour.
My photo's are nae great....but
I am focusing on not stressing over wee things
just now.......

Totally Gorjuss want a card for someone
special....and my folks are special to me.

This card is a play around with new stamps.
I am not sure about it at all.
I think I made a mess of colouring her eyes.
I have a sentiment but dont want
to say who it is for till I get it posted,
and the person recieves it.

Sine this wee sweet pea is a fairy
she is my entry for the following challenges.
My Time to craft want up in the air,

None of us like making them...
but I think they are worth the effort.
I didnt want to do a black a white card this time.
Last few I have sent have been B & W.

I actually cut out a few red felt hearts
to make tree decs to send.
But ran out of time!
Maybe next year.....

stuff & scraps

I was chatting to so some of my
work mates about card making,
and told them the wee ribbon bow
on the cotton bunny card I was showing
them had been cut from the ribbon
you find hanging inside tops.
It was the perfect colour
and I usually cut them off
as they just annoy me.
Both ladies said they cut them off
and bin them, proceeded to chop off the
ribbon from inside their tops and
hand it to me!


I made some wee cardss
and used their ribbons on them.
I have made one for each of them.

The backing papers are I think, papermania.

The other lady who was there has been
taking me in all her odd buttons,
so I made her a pair of earrings.

I had Bella at the vets for her monthly
vet nurse check.
Our vets do this free of charge for their
first year so they get used to going,
being handled and they can make sure
they are growing fine and dandy.

Bella is sure growing !!
She is still Poppy-dogs baby though!

They spend almost all their time together.

blue over you?

Well Miss Bella-Boo had a lovely time
at the puppy party last night.
10 pups all from 12 weeks to about
4 months..running around like crazy dogs,
sorry socializing.....for half and hour.
She loved it!

Right less puppy bleathers and
back to the cards....

I love this flower punch.
Have not done many cards lately
without uising it!
Anyway.
This is my card for Allsorts
who want black, white and one other colour.
So I used blue.
And One Stop Craft Challenge
who want swirls and pearls.

It kind of reminds me of old fashined blue and
white china my Gran used to have.

Have been playing around with
post it note holders.
Still not getting them how I want them
but it's a fun gift none the less.
I added white lines to edgethis but didnt take a new photo before
I gave it to the person I made it for.
It looks much better with the white
lines around the edge.

Bella-Boo wanted to get in on the photo
session outside!
She is growing so fast!

for our nephew Mac's Birthday.

fairies and flowers

A couple of cards that I am entering in
a few challenges, and a few doggy pics..

So yes, the usual from me then!
LOL.

I know this is like my last card
it's an easel card,
and it is also Bo Bunny backing papers.
But I like them!!!

I tired blending with my promarkers
on her skirt and flower petals,
need to work on that a wee bit more.

I added a wee bit of glitter...
I quite like this wee Fairy.

I am entering it in Papertake weekly who
want a wee bit of sparkle this week.
And also Creative Inspirations
who want fairies on your card.
ABC Challenge want you to use U ~ unused stash,
well I have had the backing papers since last year,
and the fairy was a freebie from
a mag that I have never used.
Allsorts are celebrating being a year old
and want us to make Birthday cards.

This card is for a friend,
Just Because
kind of card.
The backing papers are
Basic Gray and the sentiment
was from somewhere online
that I printed off and layered up.
I am really liking the new flower punch
I have been using, adding another
two flower types to this card.

Cute Card Thursday want it to be for someone special
well this mate is a special person to me.
We met online years ago and lost touch,
only to meet up again last year.
Saying no more since I want this to be a surprise!

I am undecided if I am going to send this card,
it was to go in the post to a friend,
but i really like the end result
so much that I might stick it in a frame.


It was going to go with this wee bag of doggy
treats. I made several of them this evening.
They are to post to a few doggy friends.



I have been trying to get a photo of the
dynamic digging due for a few days.
Poppy keeps trying to bury Bella-Boo.

But I can't catch them in the act when I have
my camera to hand......

They do love each other really!

blue & brown

I really love Blue & brown as
a colour combo.

The blue squares with the flowers
cut out are the scraps from a card
I made here.

I stamped the shimery card
and used a flower punch.

I decided the scraps we too pretty
to throw away. It is a shame I didn't
punch it on the centre of one of the squares.

I am sending it to friends for
their Wedding Anniversary.

My second card is for my best mate
to give to her Dad.

The photo is her Dad and his best mate
taken many, many years ago!

Look at the hair!

She thinks he looks like Paul Daniels
so that explains the wording!


I really like this shape of card.
I have been looking to see if I can
find instructions to make a round
shaped one, but no luck yet.

I forgot how much work Puppies are....
*sigh*
I forgot how they like to dig,
pinch things,
chew shoes,
get up at 5am to go for a wee....

And how tired they get!!!

She looks too big for her skin here!
Her ears also need growing into!

This one is just for Mr Buddy....

Ok so she is NOOOOOOO where near as
muddy as the Budster got in his picture...
You need to see him to believe him!

Been a funny day weather wise here.
Sunny but blinkin cold!

Anyway....some cards and
some puppy photo's.

I am really pleased with this first card.
It is different than usual cards.
The photo makes it look likethere is a huge crease over it,
but there really isn't.

The next two were made after a wee chat
Kate at the house of sugar in Elgin.

I had not made an easel card before,and was not finding the instructions
online helping me much.
But Kate gave me some help
when I was in looking at some
of their amazing stuff there.

This card is a new home for a work mate.
The backing papers are Bo Bunny.
The stamp is CC Designs.
The wee sentiment is printed on the PC
and the corners nipped with a circle punch.Again, thanks Kate.
This card is really similar to one
on display in the shop that Kate made.

The blue flowers are stamped and punched
on a shimmery blue card stock.

The next one is one of those,
I really don't know if I like it cards.
I love the style.
( Thanks AGAIN Kate!)
I have not tried this before either.
My SIL wanted a Golden Wedding card.
The papers have both silver and gold on them.

I used gold metallic ink to edge some card,
and gold mirror card on other bits.
The pair of doves are cuttle bug embossing dies.
I will have another go at this style,
this was a rush job TBH and am not
keen on the end result.

ANYWAY.....
Puppy time!

Some of these are not great quality...
but I loved the photo's.

My Babies loved each other.
The love to snuggle up.

They love to play....

And they love to fight over who's turn
it is to sleep in the very small puppy bed!

Bella-boo is 12 weeks old now.
has had her jabs and is allowed to go
for big girl walkies!!!

flowers in the garden

I love this new stamp of mine.
Dahlia from Greeting Farm.

It was so sunny and cheerful.
I sent it to a friend.
The backing papers are Bo Bunny.
I really love them.


I can not remember where I
found the sentiment.
The in bloom circular stamp is See D.
and the flowers are SU punches.
I used promarkers on to make the right
coloured card.

Now to my own wee flowers......

They love spending time chillin
in their garden.

Poppy had stopped digging,
but Bella ( Bless her.....)
has encouraged Poppy to take it up again......

This was planted out with herbs and shrubs....
Bella looks huge in these photos!

And when you are done....
you snugged up and go to sleep!

This is how they sleep!
The wee one gets too hot,
and moves away.
Just to move back again.
Poppy is so gentle with her!

Been a crappy day. Discovered someone
has hacked into our paypal and stolen £1500
from our bank account, leaving us with nothing!
Pay pal and our bank are investigating.

It's just pants really.

Sunshine & Sickness

Well I was thinking I found my mojo....
then I got sick!
Andrew came down with a vomiting bug
and despite me cleaning, disinfecting
and separate towels......

I got it too!
And pulled muscles in my chest at the same time!

Now I discover her had been drinking my juice!
Sharing glasses! while he had a tummy bug!

Was not a happy bunny !!

Anyway.......
Today is the first day I have felt
human again since Saturday!

Been down the river with Miss Pooh.
Poppy was two last Wednesday!

Brodie came round for Chicken dinner!

It is maybe a bit foofy for an 80year old
Birthday Card.

who are looking for numbers on the card.

who are T for two tone.
and I have used cream and brown here.

This one is just a card to send some love
in the post to someone who needs some.

The smaller flower panel is stamped on to sticky
paper and then glittered.

Monday here again

This weekend passed way too quick.
DH's Brother is away back to my inlaws &
will be going home to Auz at the end of the week.

I have a couple of cards done
orders for people at work.
I loved this tractor card
so made it again
for a wee boy who is tractor daft.
Hope his Mum & dad like it too.

The same person also wanted a card for her older uncle.
The backing papers were from my lovely mate Chrissy.
Thanks babe.
The rose of the watering can is actually silver.
All I had to go on with this card was his name,
age and he loves his garden.
The roses are made using the punched out flowers.

Last one is my favourite.
The red roses are made in the same
way as the white ones above.

I am not sure if the person who ordered it will like it.

Am trying to catch up on my blog list of mates
but not getting there very fast.

just something.....

Been away from blogger for a wee while.
Lost my mojo and have been living quietly!

But this weekend I made a few makes.

For a lady at my card class who said she
needed a wee note book to jot down stuff.

For a sassy lady at work who is a
very young 60!

For our nephew who is tractor daft!

Andrew's brother is here tonight.
He is home from Australia for a month
for their Mum's 70th Birthday.
Has been lovely to see him.
We had Roast Beef dinner followed
by fresh fruit platter
with warm choc dipping sauce.

Brambles, strawberries, peaches,
apple and figs.......

and yes we did eat it all!!!
