Gnomes and Kitty Cats.

This must be my lucky week!
I won the weekly challenge over
at Pixie Dust's blog
and picked this wee guy as my prize!

I am entering this card in two challenges.
This is my take on Friday sketchers,
I have rotated the sketch around.

Passion for promarkers want you
to make your own flowers.
I made my flower
from bits of ribbon.
The main DP is basic grey.

~~~~~T~~~~~
Since this a pixie Dust Image
I thought I would take part in
their sketch challenge this week too.
The main DP on this card is Bo Bunny.
~~~~~T~~~~~

Next is a card requested by my sister
for her friend Alison.
She asked for me to use this stamp
and the three colours
Green, Blue & Turquoise.

I am entering it in sketch saturday.
I moved the image over a wee bit
as it was difficult to cut through
the layers, and I wanted to keep
as much of the paper lace in it as
I could, hope this is ok.
Oh Alice want a window on
this weeks card.

I am really enjoying my week off
and have plans for next week already
including the gym, lunch out and
a shopping trip to Aberdeen,
including the papermill.
Happy happy!!

Hope you are all happy today too xx

shapes in the middle.

First of all I am so chuffed
my card was picked by the random
number generator
over at Papertake Weekly!

*Happy claps* LOL

Right back to this next selection
of cards from the last few days.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This card is using
Lisa's sketch over at
Sketch & Stash.
The new stash is the birdie stamps.
The ribbon is new from Crafty Ribbons,
but the ovals is using fiskers cutting thingy
that I just can not get the hang of at all!
I have a nice new blade, the right mat,
(Thanks Kath!)
but nope.
So I draw round the holes
in the template sheet
and cut them out!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Next one is also a challenge card,
can you tell I am
on holiday from work this week?

Sugar Nellie have a sketch by Marlene
and have the added girlie theme if you want it.
Well I am not sure she is feminine
but she is a girl!
I love this wee Gothic Girl !

After being all messy with chalk inks
I just wanted something clean & simple.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Creative Card crew want
and easel card.
And my sentiment means
I can enter it in
A spoonful of sugar
who want
good luck or best wishes.
Anyone for Anya want flowers.
I have punched out parchment
instead of velum this time.
They looks so much softer.
This card is using Tash's Sketch
over at Oh Alice!
And Tash wants daisies on the card.
So there are in fact daisies
on the card.
The beautiful Lace was a gift from
my lovely mate Amanda!
No puppy photos today.
Camera they are on is flat!
Hope you are all well.
Love all around
Been a funny day weather wise here.
Sunny but blinkin cold!
Anyway....some cards and
some puppy photo's.
I am really pleased with this first card.
It is different than usual cards.
The photo makes it look likethere is a huge crease over it,
but there really isn't.
The next two were made after a wee chat
Kate at the house of sugar in Elgin.
I had not made an easel card before,and was not finding the instructions
online helping me much.
But Kate gave me some help
when I was in looking at some
of their amazing stuff there.
This card is a new home for a work mate.
The backing papers are Bo Bunny.
The stamp is CC Designs.
The wee sentiment is printed on the PC
and the corners nipped with a circle punch.Again, thanks Kate.
This card is really similar to one
on display in the shop that Kate made.
The blue flowers are stamped and punched
on a shimmery blue card stock.
The next one is one of those,
I really don't know if I like it cards.
I love the style.
( Thanks AGAIN Kate!)
I have not tried this before either.
My SIL wanted a Golden Wedding card.
The papers have both silver and gold on them.
I used gold metallic ink to edge some card,
and gold mirror card on other bits.
The pair of doves are cuttle bug embossing dies.
I will have another go at this style,
this was a rush job TBH and am not
keen on the end result.
ANYWAY.....
Puppy time!
Some of these are not great quality...
but I loved the photo's.
My Babies loved each other.
The love to snuggle up.
They love to play....
And they love to fight over who's turn
it is to sleep in the very small puppy bed!
Bella-boo is 12 weeks old now.
has had her jabs and is allowed to go
for big girl walkies!!!
Hope you are all well and happy.
much love
ooops a daisy.
One card today.
Acetate card, cute but wonky!
Bit like myself just now!
I stamped on acetate using
brown stayzon.
The daisy petal stamp was on cream card
using bronze brilliance.
I didn't notice how wonky the petals
were until I went back to
look at it after it dried!
And found it on the floor,
the button had moved over
and taken the petals with it!
Anyway.....
it is for my Niece to give the
staff at the Heath Centre
she has been on placement at
as a thank you card.
Isn't it funny how you don't notice
all the wonky mistakes
until you see the photograph...
The hand made by Tina stamp
was made just for me by my lovely
mate in Auz Sammi.
flowers of all sorts
This warm weather is....
dare I say this out loud?
Just a wee bit too warm for me!
Daily swims for Poppy down the river
with cooling swims are a must!
It's also a bit too hot in the spare room to craft.
Despite a fan going......
I managed this with some new stamps.
I also have been making use of my new
Martha Stewart doily punch.
But I am really disappointed in
how I have done the four corners.
Any tips?
I stamped onto patterned papers,
& layered them up on black card.
A wee flower button finished it off.
the inside is from a new set of stamps too.
I really like this sentiment.
I am loving my flower bloom brooches just now.
I have resisted using this beautiful piece
of ribbon for so long....sad I know.
But I love the colours, so decided to wear it.
It's not a great picture...there are narrow
strands of green behind it for leaves.
And two buttons for the centre.
Lastly....this flower never fails to amaze me.
It is a much more beautiful
deep purple than it looks here.
And the flowers are each the size of a side plate.
Hope you are all well.
flowers from me to you!
It's half way through the working week already!
Plans for today include quiet house work
but no hovering till later on as Andrew
is sleeping off a night shift.
Need to finish off something I started at class
last night and get another card finished.
But here is one I made earlier!
This image is another one of Sammi's new marriage images.
I love this beautiful flower display.
Stampin Up circular stamps to make a wee button.
Distressing inks and sukura pen to colour
with a wee sprinkle of glitter on the flowers.
The beautiful pink ribbon is from Poppicrafts.
Now for my brown eyed girl!
She has a toy that we use for playing fetch at her puppy class.
She is not ment to have it apart from at dog class
so she stays interested in it when we use it.
Guess who found it !!!
Guess who loves it!!
She keeps bringing it to me in exchange for a treat!
She does give it up,
but then takes it away
so she can bring it back again!
You are given this toy ,
even if you don't want it
or are busy!!!
Crafty Muse.....Spot the dot!
New challenge over at Crafty Muse.
LOTS OF SPOTS!!!
So thats whatca got!
I am continuing to use the same
"Love is stamp" as part of the planned gift
for my sister's Birthday in June.
I am planning to make several cards
all with this stamp on it as it is her fave passage.
I have used two crafty muse images on this card.
I have used Angelique here on the front....
I am also still loving the brown, pink & cream combo.
I have continued the circles inside...
the left hand panel is larger than the right
the same as the card I made in card class last night.
I think I will be using this quiet a bit just now!
And I also used Millie inside,
who has a spotty dress on.
I dont know who makes these papers.
They were on special in packs at local craft store.
I added a white circle inside the card
so my sister can write her message in it.
it is layered up using my nesties.
I used 3 different sized punches to cut out the circles.
I must admit I am not keen on dots and spots
but I enjoyed this card.
Sunny Saturday Photos.
Today is a beautiful Sunny day in Moray.
I loved sitting in outside with Miss Poppy Dog.
Our garden just now is a cross between a
beautiful assortment of plants of all colours & shapes
all brought out with the sunshine of Spring....
and a construction site where
Miss Poppy is busy digging holes.
Think this one is going to be a pond....
This used to be our herb garden.
It still has a bay bush in it,
which is now used to run round
in a mad doggy circuit!
It amazes me how many different daffodils
there are out & about,
from big single yellow trumpets
To double heads that are cream and yellows.
to wee tiny ones the size of my thumb nail.
And when you are trying to take a photo in my garden.....
There is always a Poppy dog getting involved!!!
Thanks for looking!
Crafty pad # 14 Mothers Day.
Over at Crafty Pad we are on Challenge 14 already!!!
This week we would like you to make a Card
for any female who is special to you
APART from your mum!
So a sister, Aunt, Gran, Friend.....
if you use any Crafty pad Stamp
you will be entered into the prize draw!
This week I have made a very special card.
For somone who is very special to me.
Briony
As I told you earlier on this week,
Two very special people
Briony & Charlie became parents!
It has been a long time coming,
and not an easy journey.
Harriet was born after a high risk pregnancy.
This is my card to her Mummy
who has taken her baby girl home
in times for Mothers Day!
The yellow centre shimmery card is the size of a cd,
the butterfly is my fave from Crafty Pads stamps.
The petals were embossed using my cuttle bug
And the embellishments are buttons, pearls & gems.
It says to Hattie's Mummy!
Today is never an easy day for me.
We have tried for almost 15 years to become parents.
But today. ....
I can't describe the joy that is in my heart for Briony & Charlie.
They have been such supportive friends to me and Andrew,
Through various events in all our lives.
We have known them for a long time now.
And they are like family to to me.
But today......I will be saying many thanks for the precious
Baby Harriet!
My love to all Mum's today,
to people who would love to be Mum's
to Mum's all ages who miss thier children.
And to children of all ages who miss thier Mum's.
Happy Birthday Lori.
Tomorrow is our niece's Birthday and this is the card I have sent to her.
I looked at some challenges and one was lavender & lace
I wanted to use sugar nellie Leanne Ellies stamp as it looks very like Lori.
It was from a another stamp challenge but wanted to use lavender & lace,
so took my inspiration for that.
Thank you to all the emails & messages that you have
sent me asking how I was doing.
I am much better.
The tooth is much better now, & my back is almost there.
I have been tired at work this week but am on leave next week.
which is just as well as Brodie's Mum is away on a course
and he is coming to stay with us, so will have much with Poppy.
Hope you are all well.
Am away to go see what you have all been up to.
Much love Teen xxx
Monday makes
Monday is almost over....but it has been a good day.
Andrew was on a day off and I am on holiday this week from work.
Poppy had her monthly bath for her itchy skin....
it was actually needed today as she found a gang of labs on her walk,
ended up coming home covered in mud and dog slobbers!!
She stood to get blow dried......for only one side!!!
so is all fluffy on one side !
Did get three cards made today.
The photo's are rubbish,
the lighting is not great on them at all.
The first one was not ment to end up this shape,
but I am quiet pleased with it.
It is using one of Debbie's new Butterfly stamps from Crafty pad.
I do LOVE butterflies.
I am entering it for Cute Card Thursday's signs of spring,
it is green and yellow, spring time colours to me.
Not sure that Butterflies are spring time insects.
I used my water colour pencils and sukura glitter pens.
I blended the pencils with my pro marker blender pen.
I am not sure about the flowers I have picked TBH .
I might change the centre of one of them .
~~~~~~~~~~~

This one is my take on Dawny P's sketch
on Paper take Weekly.
Again I am using one of Debbie's Butterflies.
I have used my promarkers and sukura souffle pen.

The backing paper is one I got in a swap,
have no idea who makes this one.
I have put the vellum through the cuttlebug.
It is more pink and green but you can't see it too well.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lastly a Xmas card using my take on sketch #39
at Saturday Sketchers.
I did turn it upside down
so I could make the snowflakes in the sky.
The white one is a large snowflake stamped
on shrink plastic with white stayzon.
I applied it with a springy made from acetate.
Hope you are having a good start to a great week
much love
Tina xx
