Hey Baby Duckie!

 Now for something COMPLETLY different....

My good friend is having a baby soon,
and I wanted to have a wee go
 at making a nappy cake.
I have seen my lovely pal Amanda
make them, so here is my first attempt.

We don't know if the new Bairn is a Lad or Lassie,
so I went with Lemon and a wee yellow chickie.

 I have made wee roses out of scratch mitts
and wee white socks, seems you can not get
lemon ones for love nor money!
The ribbon bows were a bit fiddly but worth the footer!

The chickie is sitting on top of a bottle of baby bath.

There is a tag to go with this,
but it is not dry yet so will need to remember
to take a photo of that too.

I am quite pleased with this
and am going to have another go when my
Nephew and his Partner have their baby
in a few weeks.

Hope you are all well

great niece!

Second post of the day!
I know.....no posts in weeks
and then two come along....

Two
weeks ago today
my nephew & his lovely girlfriend
had a beautiful baby girl!

Aliesha Teanna
was born 4 weeks early
and a petite
4lbs 11 1/4 ounces!

She got home today, which
was just amazing !
I can't wait to have a cuddle
as only mum's and dad's were
allowed to hold the special care baby's.
I did get to see her
and stroke her hair!

Anyway.....some cards to celebrate!
One for her parents!

Sugar nellie stamp which I just love.
Totally Gorjuss want buttons on a card.

~~~~~T~~~~~
One for my sister who is now Granny !
This time a sugar nellie download.
This baby is much rounder than Aliesha!
~~~~~T~~~~~

And for my parents,
this is their first great grand daughter.

Papertake weekly
want three of something
well this card as three lilac punched hearts on it.

~~~~~T~~~~~
And lastly
my first niece who is now an Auntie.
It really does not seem like a few
years since Becca was
born and made me an Auntie
for the first time.
Another sugar nellie stamp!
Do you think I love these stamps or what!
I have had this maggie stamp for ages
so it fits Oldie but Goodie perfectly!
They want a baby card this week.
~~~~~T~~~~~

I am still loving the brown bags
for gift bags.

I am entering the tag to truly scrumptious
who wants tags this week.

Anyway.....hope you are all fine!
much love
Teen
or Great Auntie Teen as it is now!!!

baby boys and girls.

Two quite busy cards today.
The first one is for a dear friend
who had a baby girl called
Willow.
I love the beautiful photo
of her precious wee girl.

The crafty pad want something girlie.

~~~~~T~~~~~
The second one is for a girl at work
to give to her son who will
be one this week.
She asked for an A4 card,
and this is my first card this big.
I loved the backing paper but tried
to keep the rest of the card simple
so it wasn't too fussy,
the mum loved it,
but I am not sure about it at all.
I am entering it at Allsorts
who want a card for the boys this week.
Hope you are all grand.
Will leave you with a puppy cuddle.
too much to do.
I have done few things today,
to be honest I had so many
things that needed doing,
I wish I had more time to spend
on all the things I made.
Just how it is I guess eh...
Anyway.
First up.
This is for the Sugar Nellie Sketch.
and also Colour Create ~ baby pink & pastel blue.
These four note cards are for part of my
sister's birthday pressie.
This is for a friend at work....
I am entering it in
Allsorts Strawberries & Cream.
This drove me nuts! LOL.
I coloured the image in three times.
Luckily I had four copies of it
that I got in an image swap.
This is for a work mate
who's DIL has just had
a second daughter.
Matilda now has a wee sister
called Lydia.
This was something for my living room!
I love this picture so much.
It looks like the base paper is
really squint but it is not in real life.
Apologies for bad photo's
it is awful here today.
The above piece is A4 size and in a frame.
This wee one is a Thank you card
and much smaller.
Hope you are all fine.
Am trying to get to grips with
new net book and keep
making spelling mistakes
with tiny keypad.
I realized I signed a few blog posts
Love Tuna the other day.
Ach well.
the good, the bad and the downright naughty!
Yesterday was ment to be a crafty day with Amanda
but that's now going to be tomorrow!
I even got us some new Gorguss Girls to stamp with!
They are now availably to buy as single stamps.
They are still in their wrappers till tomorrow.
But I have had a wee colour in thanks to Debbi sending me some images!!!
I have had some beautiful cards and images sent to me by some lovely girlies.
Will get them photographed and blogged as soon as I can.
My Lap top is now home!!!
woooooooo hoooooooooooo
It has just been way too cold to sit at the PC upstairs for too long
so haven't been keeping up with you all!
And now the naughty..........
yes you guessed it....Miss Poppy-dog!
I have sat making my Lovely friends Briony & Charlie a baby card.
I bought the template, got the thick card,
cut it out and covered it in pretty pink baby papers.
Inked all the edges....left them to dry
I heard a chewing noise from behind me.
Poppy had pinched the letter B and was happily chewing away at the corner!!
When I roared at her......she just looked at me......
and then spat out the corner of the letter!
Andrew says she was trying to make the B into a P for Poppy!!!
he was on night shift and so Poppy goes into guard do duty!
And at 5 am she came upstairs with a packet of crisps
she had found downstairs and smacked me on the head with it!
She was hopeful for breakfast!!!
she so didn't get breakfast!
Over at Crafty Pad we are on Challenge 14 already!!!
This week we would like you to make a Card
for any female who is special to you
APART from your mum!
So a sister, Aunt, Gran, Friend.....
if you use any Crafty pad Stamp
you will be entered into the prize draw!
This week I have made a very special card.
For somone who is very special to me.
Briony
As I told you earlier on this week,
Two very special people
Briony & Charlie became parents!
It has been a long time coming,
and not an easy journey.
Harriet was born after a high risk pregnancy.
This is my card to her Mummy
who has taken her baby girl home
in times for Mothers Day!
The yellow centre shimmery card is the size of a cd,
the butterfly is my fave from Crafty Pads stamps.
The petals were embossed using my cuttle bug
And the embellishments are buttons, pearls & gems.
It says to Hattie's Mummy!
Today is never an easy day for me.
We have tried for almost 15 years to become parents.
But today. ....
I can't describe the joy that is in my heart for Briony & Charlie.
They have been such supportive friends to me and Andrew,
Through various events in all our lives.
We have known them for a long time now.
And they are like family to to me.
But today......I will be saying many thanks for the precious
Baby Harriet!
My love to all Mum's today,
to people who would love to be Mum's
to Mum's all ages who miss thier children.
And to children of all ages who miss thier Mum's.
long time to deliver!
Two ladies at work had had new grand babies in the last wee while.
And I have been a bit slow in making these cards for them.
Jean's baby Grand daughter is called Matilda, Tilda for short.
I made this folded star type card for her with details about her birth....
And Marlene's daughter had a baby boy. Keir.
I made a much simpler card, but I like it just as much. I don't know his birth details.
The both have a little bit of ribbon on them but I thought I would put Tilda's one into the Thursday challenge....do you think it has enough ribbon for that?
Will need to go have a good look at the challenge and see...
