Happy First Birthday Bella Baby!!!

No cards at all today.
Bella my baby Labrador is one today.
As you know if you have been
at my blog before I love my dogs.

I was in the mood for baking yesterday
so made some dog friend and
human friendly carrot cupcakes.

The girls shared an un-frosted cake tonight
after their dinner.
I took the rest of the cakes into
work for the girls to share.



I have a collection of photos
that you may have seen before
but they are some of my
favourites from our first year
with Bella-Boo.

Meeting Poppy for the first time.

We love to dig!

And have chewed the corner off this cushion...

She loves her comforts.

And exploring every nooks and crannys.

Her best friend is Poppy-dog.

And they spend a lot of time
cuddled up together.

Poppy has been a lovely mama dog

Bella copys a lot of Poppy's behaviour.

Getting wet is no problem,
rain,
swimming,
snow,
being bathed
and trying to get in the shower
at the same time as the humans

Love it all!

But snuggling up with
Poppy is the perfect way to relax.

I think this Labrador is happy in her home.

Can not believed that the year
has passed as quick as it has,
Bella is a great wee dog,
and we love her to bits.

The house smelled fantastic when I
came home from work!

first card to show you was a real
labour of love.
A friend from work
wanted a special card for her Mam.
The names are as she wanted them.
Only request....
daffodils.

I have never worked with paper
flowers like this before....

since it was a special card
I made a box to case it in.

It was my good friends Birthday today,
we are always joking that it is
"not all about you."

To end with two brown eyed beauties
who it is always all about.

my Blondie baby will be one next week.
Can not believe it has come round so soon.

Saturday stuff

Was out having a wee galavant today.
Took myself to lunch,
and after I convinved myself
in this day and age
it was no big deal to go and
eat all by myself,
I was asked twice was I eating
all by myself,
and the waitress then shouted out
"Table for one only...."
to which her boss asked her to clarify...
"Just one? She is eating by herself...?"

So yeah....anyway.....

Had lunch then went to Debbi's
Promarker class at Simply Create.
It was really lovely to meet Debbi & Anne
face to face in real life!

And lovely to see a few face's I have come to know
from going through to Alford.

I have still to finish my two cards off,
so just a wee sneaky peek at something.

I did part with two jars of my
home made beet root chutney.
And have been asked for the recipe.....
If I tell you,
do you promise not to tell anyone???

I will tell you however....
there were two miss doggies
who were not best pleased
at having to spending a wee while
at home, by them selves!

oh and Bella Boo was a wee star at doggy class
on Wednesday!
I was so proud of her......
It's not that she can't do what I ask her to there....
she just chooses not most of the time!

brown bags and birds.

I can't believe it is Wednesday
again all ready!!!
I was going to join in with WOYWW
but all you would see is a pile of stuff
that I have abandoned in a half hearted
clean up session this morning,
before I left it all to go and meet a
friend for lunch!

I bought a pack of brown bags
to decorate and use instead of wrapping
for gifts, so with only 6 or so used so far
and 100 in the pack....
you will be seeing a lot more of
these babies!

The junior at my hair salon
is moving into her first home,
so I made a card and decorated the
bag with some mugs, tea bag, coffee
and a few other goodies.

I am enetering the card in the
following challenges ~
Papertake weekly want anything goes
with optional extra of flowers.
Penny black at allsorts want flowers as well.
Penny Black want you to follow a sketch.

I flipped the sketch round.

I made the edge of the tag to match the mugs.
