sunday stuff.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
It passed way too quickly for my liking.

A few days cards in one go as before.

This one uses doodle pantry
digital download.
And I followed a sketch on
Sunday sketch & stamp.

~~~~~T~~~~~
This is for a friends child,
and uses a digital download
from Wiff of Joy.
~~~~~T~~~~~

This one is for the same friends daughter.

It has my new sugar nellie stamp
it is called searching.
I love these basic greys papers.

I am entering it in Allsorts
who want summer days.
Secret Crafter wants summer holidays
And I love nothing more on relaxing on
summer days...

~~~~~T~~~~~
This last one is for my Aunt who will be 76.
I stamped the flower using fine
embossing powder and heat gun,
onto SU pink card.
~~~~~T~~~~~

Before you all panic about how big
both my dogs are,
they are on a two seater sofa!

Look at Bella's back legs....
LOL

Hope you are all grand

blue over you?

Well Miss Bella-Boo had a lovely time
at the puppy party last night.
10 pups all from 12 weeks to about
4 months..running around like crazy dogs,
sorry socializing.....for half and hour.
She loved it!

Right less puppy bleathers and
back to the cards....

I love this flower punch.
Have not done many cards lately
without uising it!
Anyway.
This is my card for Allsorts
who want black, white and one other colour.
So I used blue.
And One Stop Craft Challenge
who want swirls and pearls.

It kind of reminds me of old fashined blue and
white china my Gran used to have.

~~~~~~~~
Have been playing around with
post it note holders.
Still not getting them how I want them
but it's a fun gift none the less.
I added white lines to edgethis but didnt take a new photo before
I gave it to the person I made it for.
It looks much better with the white
lines around the edge.
Bella-Boo wanted to get in on the photo
session outside!
She is growing so fast!
The pic you can see is of a card
for our nephew Mac's Birthday.
Happy Birthday Mac!
She used to hide under here from Poppy!
Who me?
Talking of Poppy......
Oh....and I won the lucky dip
at Crafty Ribbons for
Freebie Friday!!!
Go and see Mollie,
the most
beautiful wee Lassie
who picks the winners each week!
Hope you are all well.
much love teen xx
Wedded Bliss
Whats on my work space....?
A blinkin mess to be honest,
I dare not show you the rest
of my work area, this needs
a good tidy up as it is.
I had a day off work today,
so I got time to make some cards.
A lady at work asked me to make
her a Wedding card
in a similar style to the invite.
It was in white and pink,
with four diamonds along the
pink ribbon on the side.
I thought it looks an easy enough idea
BUT
It was a real pain in the elbow to do.
I made one and it looked too plain.
The white card looked all wrong.
So I made it again using shimery white
card....but once I stuck down the
second white layer I realsied
that I had not stuck down the ribbon....
The ribbon may have been pink
but the air was blue!
Third time....
I discovered I didnt have
two sheets of the white shimery card.
So it is a sort of oyster colour.
But by this point I really didn't care!
Anyway here is final card.
The pink flower is punched out in the oyster
card and darker pink ribbon is underneath.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So this was the white card that looked wrong.
I stamped butterflies and dragon flies
and added the Penny Black image.
I think I will go back and add some
more shading to his tummy.
The top layer of the punched out butterfly
is a wee bit of left over vellum.

I am entering it in papertake weekly,
who want Fun, fun, fun!
Creative card crew who want pink & green
Penny Black Sat Challenge want in the garden.
My Time to craft ~ wild thing.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OK so I had one more base card made
from the wedding card faff from before.
I needed a Thank you card.
I think I got a bit carried away
on the dots and dashes on the edging
but I like the end card.
My pal asked me to do her a
wedding card as well...
to be honest after the morning
I had with the other card
I almost didn't want to do this
card at all......
But I got on with it, and
I quite liked what I ended up with.
I am not keen on fussy wedding cards.
The off white card in this is also
a bit shimmery.
So is the purple ink I used to
smudge the edges of the
hearts and the sentiment.
Lastly.....
I really enjoyed making this one.
Passion for promarker want Books as this weeks theme.
Well you must know by now
I LOVE TWILIGHT!
lol.
So here is Bella & Edward.
I know Bella would not wear
a dress like this.
But she is the best I could do.
This evening Bella-Boo is going
to a puppy party at the vets.
She is being a wee toad.....so
a party is the last place I think she
should be getting to attend today!
Andrew took her and Poppy-dog
into town in the car.
He went into a shop for a short while....
came out and found her in the boot....
eating a slice of bread from
the loaf he had bought in the bakers.
She was quite happy!
flowers of all sorts
This warm weather is....
dare I say this out loud?
Just a wee bit too warm for me!
Daily swims for Poppy down the river
with cooling swims are a must!
It's also a bit too hot in the spare room to craft.
Despite a fan going......
I managed this with some new stamps.
I also have been making use of my new
Martha Stewart doily punch.
But I am really disappointed in
how I have done the four corners.
Any tips?
I stamped onto patterned papers,
& layered them up on black card.
A wee flower button finished it off.
the inside is from a new set of stamps too.
I really like this sentiment.
I am loving my flower bloom brooches just now.
I have resisted using this beautiful piece
of ribbon for so long....sad I know.
But I love the colours, so decided to wear it.
It's not a great picture...there are narrow
strands of green behind it for leaves.
And two buttons for the centre.
Lastly....this flower never fails to amaze me.
It is a much more beautiful
deep purple than it looks here.
And the flowers are each the size of a side plate.
Hope you are all well.
much love Teen xx
Rascal and ribbons.
Well as you can see Poppy-Dog
who is a teenager at the moment
is getting cheekier & cheekier by the moment!
We taught her to pick up things & give on command,
like when I drop pegs or socks when hanging out washing.
She decided to start pinching things
bring them to us....
my Hubby gave her dog treats in return
& now she has him trained to give her sweets
for her returning the stolen items.....
including his mobile phone!!!
So when she wants a dog treat....
and she is a Labrador , so always wants food!
She pinches things!
On a happier note,
As you know I have really enjoyed the
Crafty Ribbons Challenges
and have done all four of them so far.
I was worried I was pushing my luck
by entering them all......
But then when this one came up
I thought
I WANT THEM!!!!!!
So I sent a begging email off to Ali at Crafty Ribbons
pleading to join this challenge!!!
And they arrived today!!!!
I thought I would drap them on Poppy
to show them off against her shiny black coat.
But she got the wee box it came in!!!
Had a good look at it....
Decided she was having it !
Yip it was her's now!
I had planned to decorate it and give it away
with goodies in it as a gift.....
But I guess not!!!
Talking about the lovely people at Crafty Ribbons....
You know I loved the narrow pumpkin coloured
ribbon that came with Spring Time ribbons?
Amanda even gave me her left over bit from the challenge!
Well I emailed Ali when I couldn't find it on the website,
and she said she was gonna send me the end of the roll
since I had blogged about loving it soooooo much!
And she sent me this!!!!
That's almost a whole spool!!!
You will be seeing so much of this ribbon!!!
Talking of ribbon......
here's a sneakie peekie at my
Crafty Pad DT card
for this weekends Challenge!
Lots of love
where it came from)
I have used two of the free images on this card,
Angelique and Millie as bunnies on an egg hunt!
I used promarkers and glitter.
Am loving these soft pastel spring color just now.
And for my Friends Nan & Paul who celebrated Oestra
with the Spring Equinox last week
I used the Dragon download from Sammi
To make this card.
The base card is a cream leather effect
so I spritzed it with metallic paint
And hope it looks like dragon hide!
The green dragon's eggs are a
shimmery green pearl card.
I love the poem on it,
It sums up spring to me.
Crafty pad # 14 Mothers Day.
Over at Crafty Pad we are on Challenge 14 already!!!
This week we would like you to make a Card
for any female who is special to you
APART from your mum!
So a sister, Aunt, Gran, Friend.....
if you use any Crafty pad Stamp
you will be entered into the prize draw!
This week I have made a very special card.
For somone who is very special to me.
Briony
As I told you earlier on this week,
Two very special people
Briony & Charlie became parents!
It has been a long time coming,
and not an easy journey.
Harriet was born after a high risk pregnancy.
This is my card to her Mummy
who has taken her baby girl home
in times for Mothers Day!
The yellow centre shimmery card is the size of a cd,
the butterfly is my fave from Crafty Pads stamps.
The petals were embossed using my cuttle bug
And the embellishments are buttons, pearls & gems.
It says to Hattie's Mummy!
Today is never an easy day for me.
We have tried for almost 15 years to become parents.
But today. ....
I can't describe the joy that is in my heart for Briony & Charlie.
They have been such supportive friends to me and Andrew,
Through various events in all our lives.
We have known them for a long time now.
And they are like family to to me.
But today......I will be saying many thanks for the precious
Baby Harriet!
My love to all Mum's today,
to people who would love to be Mum's
to Mum's all ages who miss thier children.
And to children of all ages who miss thier Mum's.
Crafty Pad #10
It's challenge time again over at Crafty Pad!
our tenth one already!
This week we have a sketch !
You can turn it if you want to.....
I did!
We want you to use a Faith stamp this week please,
as usual there is a wee prize.
I used love hearts from the Faith range to complete my card.
I do love these wee hearts as you know!
I have used Dreams in the Faith range.
I LOVE her shoes! and her legs are fab!
I can't walk in heels at all!
I don't normally use these colours
but I had a sheet of this sweet Bo's Bunnys paper
think this one is My Darling range ~ Bella.
I wanted to use it on this card.
I think that it works ok.
Baby Boy Book
my cousin Jennifer has just had a baby boy.
I have wanted to make one of these book card thingys for ages.
But always made a real hash of it!
Anyway.......here is my attempt at it.
Mummy & Daddy
Baby Bump
Baby's full name.
recharge!
Been a busy and tiring week but its the weekend
and I am on annual leave next week so time to recharge
and get some fun stuff done!
These are a few cards from the last couple of days......
The first one is was an order from a lady at work.
She wanted a card and her request was for one that....
was funny,
for a man's 50th
he lays brick driveways....not sure why she told me this fact it didn't help!
he looks like Richard Fairbrass from Right Said Fred.
oh and he used to be a male stripper........
so this is what she got.....
She and all the other secretaries loved it!
Thank goodness!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Next is a card for a friends Birthday, that sat in my bag until today so will be really late on getting to her!
Not my usual colour combo but her fave, so that's why I did it!
It is my take on A spoonful of sugar's sketch by Debbie.
I turned it on its head so that Daisy was facing the right way.

And lastly is my take on Friday Sketcher challenge this week by Jacqueline

It is a request from someone else at work for her computer loving brother.
well thats me.....Brodie is on his way round to play with Poppy dog.
I have a few more cards to post but haven't sorted that post out yet!!!
