It has been another beautiful day here in sunny Morayshire!
Emma & family came round for a bleather and some nibbles....
Andrew made yummy scones...Mmmmmmm!
But it wasn't just one of the salsa's that was a wee bit hot today.......
Guess who forgot to put on the sunscreen....
even though I left it out so I would see it and remember to do so...............
Yeap......That will be me then!We were only out for an hour or so,
and I made sure there was a sheet in the shade for the little one.....
Oh well....Will suffer from that later on!
Was lovely to see Emma & Co. I love her kids,
oh sure Emma and Steve are lovely too.....
Hahaha
The garden is a bit neglected just now,
I am not doing a good job at watering the pots...
and a few are showing signs of that.
But....
some are looking just lovely.
Andrew & I stayed out till really late last night in the garden,
it was lovely and cool , and we used the fire basket we bought.
Even made toast on it!
Poppy loves to carry sticks and we have a nice little collection at the top of our drive.
Drying nicely under the trailer just for this!
It gave off a lovely heat.....
And if you add the lavender clippings we have been drying since last year.........
You get that effect!!!!
Oh yeau BABY!!!
Oh......one last thing......

ouch! that looks really painful :/ my plants are suffering too from lack of water, I really to remember to water them tomorrow (and plant my foxgloves before they all die :/)

Wow, what a lovely idea, lavender clippings. Looks like you gonna need some lavender oil on your poor back :( my shoulders look pink after the weekend and I normally go a very dark colour! Tis stormin' here now, take care X

oh your poor back ~ look after that ~ the sun is so strong at the moment ~well i haven`t been out in it cause of my bronchitis , but that would be me ~bright red ~my husband just goes chocolate brown!! ~so unfair!!
glad you had a great day, like you the garden needs some rain /or some watering!!~i`ve lost a lot of plants this year with bugs/disease, so need to do some plant buying ~shame as my garden was getting quite mature!!
