Look at Poppy's new trick!
Yes that is a dog treat on her nose!
Yes she left it there until being told the command to take it!
This only took TWO attempts with Hubby this afternoon!!

yay! neat trick to teach a dog :)
I tried teaching our Rottie but every time we tried to place the treat on his nose he would fall over onto his back from trying to follow the treat :p :/ sit pretty was an easy one because of that :p our lab would just shake his head so the treat went flying and would chase after it lol hmmm haven't had luck in the brains department with dogs it seems lol My Bouve was the smartest but really stubborn. Would herd people, and the horses in the field next door. Until the stallion showed up and ran him off :p

the lady that takes the dog class wants to teach her "dead dog"
She says "bang" and pretends she has shot Poppy ( i know this sounds awful but bear with me!) and poppy drops to the ground and rolls on her back, then when she turns away poppy crawls along after her, and when she turns around poppy pretends she is dead again!
She taught her Rottie to do it, and says Pops is really smart and enjoys games like this so will give it a go....
that is very cute :) Smart dog :D
