challenges & blog candy !

Thankfully I had a bit more oomph today and managed a few cards for some friends,
and two of them are also perfect for challenges.

This one is as a thinking of you after your op card!





This card was made using a template that Emma sent me...



As you probably know, October is Breast cancer awareness month.
It is likely that we all have someone we know or love or maybe even yourself
who has had a battle or scare with breast cancer.

The card is also for a friend,
I have made a few like this to send to some girlie mates..
just to say hello and remind them to squish their boobs!

I am going to enter it the This Thursday its all about,
because it is to do something from your heart....
and this is something I feel passionate about,
I am sending similar cards to people who I love ....
and all the time I was making it I was reminded about women in my life
who I care about who are fighting breast cancer or who sadly have lost their battles
with breast cancer.....

Helen, Fiona, Alison, Jean,
to all the ladies who I had the pleasure knowing while nursing
them during their battle with this awful disease...

• Around 46,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer each year - that’s one person every 12 minutes

• Breast cancer also affects men, but it is rare, around 300 men are diagnosed each year

I am entering it in Cute Card Thursday as its challenge is Autumn ,

I am loving the colours of Autumn so enjoyed making this card.

It is also made using a sketch from papertake weekly challenge.

On a much much lighter note.......

Poor poppy ended up in such a mess while trying to get the
yogurt out of the corners of the pot!!
