weekend almost over

I am not sure why I chose that title.
Since Andrew's work pattern changed from being off every weekend
to now working some, our weekends don't always feel like weekends at all.

I used to work all sorts of shifts,
I hated working a late shift where you finished at 10 pm
and had to be back into the ward at 7am the next morning.
But I did love driving home after a night shift on a Monday morning
to go to bed when everyone else was having that Monday morning feeling.

I never slept properly, worries about sleeping in
and the evenings goings on in the busy ward often kept my mind in over drive.

Man I am waffling on these days....
too much going on in my mind,
stuff to be processed,
decisions to be made.

Anyway , in between tackling the mountain of washing that somebody
has left in our linen baskets....I did make two cards today.

This one is using the stamp the wonderful Sammi designed and MADE
and sent me for Chrimbo!
Thanks babe! you are a wonderful friend!

It is her Princess Amber and I have layered the wings using a shimmery vellum.
It is also brown and pink so fills the needs of Cute Card Thursday since they want to see something you got for Xmas.
I love pink and brown together.

This card is green and browns...I love them together too!
It is my take on the sketch on Sketch Saturday.
the green tag will have the person's name in it.
But I didn't want to post that on here!

brown and pink is one of my favourites too, in fact I like experimenting with brown and other colours too - think it must be my love of chocolate lol

Hi there, thanks for your comment and loving these two cards how cute is that dog?
The dots i had on my card are a product called card candy! Like brads but without th spikes so just adhere them to your card they are £1.00 per pack and you get about 250 dots in a pack, they do 12 different colour choices and i bouht all of them my favourite pack it the chocolate and marshmallow (the dotd are pink and brown). You can get them at craftworkcards.co.uk
love tasha xx

Wow! To have a stamp custom made especially for you - how cool is that? :)

Your cards are both wonderful, I love the shade of green you used and how you layered the wings with vellum. I don't have vellum but I sometimes stamp on plain ol' tracing paper.

If you have the time, please stop by my blog (HERE) - you've been tagged! ;)

Hugs,
Mada
