card class makes.

I started back at card class on Tuesday,
and I am so glad to be back again.
I missed the ladies from there.
There something so nice about chatting, laughing and crafting together.
These ladies have become good friends too.

It is also lovely to try new types of cards and different craft techniques.

It can't be easy to come up with new ideas each week,
but they do!
I have used lots of ideas from there for lots of other cards at home.

This week it is was this card,



using papers I wouldn't have normally put together
but I love the effect!
I really need to be a bit more adventurous
with colours & papers more than I am.

How sweet is the matching notebook we covered!!!!



I made a few more, this one is for my mate who is an infection control nurse!


And for Nikki who's birthday it was yesterday.

And this one is in the post to a special friend.

These wee makes are a Birthday goodies for my lovely mate Nikki.
All the Photo's I have used on these goodies are one of Nikki's daughters.
And with is beautiful smile I am entering it in

Arty Girlz Challenge who this week want some Smiles!

The wings are made from my fave stamp

of the moment Debbie's Butterfly with Verse stamps.

I stamped it on to purple vellum using stayzon.
I have added a wee bit of colour using sukura pens.

These are four simple notelet cards using photos.

This is a wee spare picture I had left over
that I made into a wee photo frame.

I only noticed after editing the photo
that I had smudged a wee ink squiggle on it
So have added a small heart sticker to cover that up.

good vibrations!

We have been having problems with our shower for a couple of days.
There was a noise coming from behind the shower unit.
It was random, and loud.
Like a very loud electric toothbrush.

We took down the metal corner shelf and wee soap dish holder.
nope.
we investigated shower, it was not effected by being switched on or off....
we switched off power supply to shower ....nope.....

This noise seemed to happen after the RAF jet planes flew by.....
When the planes had stopped flying....
When the loo was flushed....
When I run the bath.
When no one was anywhere near it......

It was driving me nuts!
We called out British Gas as they cover our plumbing too.

45 minuets the guy scratched his head,
ran all the taps,
had the shower full on in all its settings.....
Was talking about thinking the shower shouldn't need replacing.
I was getting worried about the cost.....
would the wet wall maybe have to be removed if the shower wasn't the problem.
The bathroom was only painted last year.....

His mobile phone rang and he was chatting away it started buzzing away again,

Then he started roaring laughing!!!
He called me over.....
And said put your hand on the wall.....
So I am standing in the bath with my hand on the wall
he presses the button on the bright pink vibrating razor
that sits on a wee blade holder on the wet wall!



He thinks some water may have gotton into the battery & any vibration like the jets and loo flushing might have been enough to start it vibrating itself......

I have removed the battery!!!

He did our annual gas service while he was here.....and on our paperwork,
he wrote noisy pipes, nil found, situation resolved!!! bless him!

Cupcakes mmmmmmmmmmmm!

Due to stuff and various things going on
I have been really getting these
Crafty Ribbons Cup Cake challenge cards posted here.
They are at last on their way to the guys at Crafty Ribbons.

You get a lovely selection of the ribbons they want you to use
and I love playing with ribbons as you know so it was a win win situation!!

Here they are.....

This one I am not sure about.
I love the ribbon flowery thing I made with wee bits of the ribbons in the kit.
The backing paper was a freebie from a magazine this month.
The Happy Birthday bit is a lovely thick ribbon from the ribbons I was sent for this challenge.

This one I didn't like as I was making it, but now love.
the cupcake is made from textured card stock.
I put the icing and the paper cake through cuttle bug folders,
the bottom one is actually my Christmas tree one.
The candy squiggles are chopped up zigzag ribbons from the kit.
The candles were made from wee bits of ribbon, glitter glue & liquid pearls.
I should have put the I love cupcakes ribbon over a wee bit
as I have hidden the cute wee heart on it.


Lastly, I know I have shown this card before,
But I love Sammi's beautiful wee fairy girls.
This wee cutie is Angelique!

I think I need to go get some breakfast....
all this talk about cupcakes is making me hungry!

I am sorry I have not been around much,
have been really tired and having Internet problems...
but I have a wee request if you can help me please.......
Dose anyone have a stamped image of something to do with" Keep Fit "
that they could send me ?
I will of course send you some images back in return.
I have a request for a card with Keep fit as the subject
and have no stamps that fit this at all.
Or do you know of a digital download ?
I would prefer a stamped image but if you know of
a link to a download that would be helpful too.

I am off to finish my bloggy post then see what you have been up to.

2 promarkers pens FREE to a good home

I have been sorting and gutting out my craft room again!
How come I have done so little crafting but have so much clutter!!!

Anyhoo.......

I have sorted my promarker pens out & have discovered that I have four pastel pink pens!
Now I have a couple of spare pens I will keep due to me using them almost all the time,
but I will never use four of them up! And I have quiet a few pinks I use more often.

I was chatting with Amanda and we talking about swaping some doubles
but she has a few of these pinks as well!!!
I think they come in most of the sets of pens......

So if you want one of the two pens that I am happy to post out just let me know.
