thursday....

Not much to say....yes you heard me!!!

LOL

The poppy dog has now removed her bandage
and is now being watched like a hawk!!!
I managed to lead Amanda astray
by pointing out that Do Crafts have a massive sale!!!

I only went there to get these....
but am unable to get them anywhere.
Anyone have any idea where I can buy them?
My local store has not had them in ages and seems unable to get them.

Bought some new wee 3 drawer storage sets from Aldi
and need to get them in place tomorrow and get stuff sorted.

That's me.

Oh I have been trying to get one of those fancy signature things set up
with no luck what so ever!!

Hope you are all fine.
Am away to catch with folk,
but having problems leaving comments on blogs.
so much love to you.

Hugs

poor poppy.*edited*

The best-laid plans of mice and men,
often go awry....

or as Rabbie Burns once said...
The best laid schemes o' mice an' men Gang aft agley!

Anyway, today was going to be do a load of laundry
and then a relaxing afternoon of reflexology
or maybe get the ear candles done to ward off the last of my cold.

I haven't had a bad dose,
and the steam inhalations of lavender
has certainly done a good job of making me feel better.

But instead we ended up at the Vets.

Miss Poppy-dog has split her dew claw ( like your thumb nail)
right up to the quick and was bleeding everywhere!

She has had it cut right back, the vet warned us
it would hurt her and she might yelp and bleed a lot!

So we will do it on the count of three.....
1,2,3......nope she didn't bat an eye lid and did bleed
but not as much as Tilly did when she got her claw cut back.

She is all bandaged up and will have to wear her lampshade tonight
as she is very very good at getting bandages off!

She is feeling soooooooo sorry for her self,
and in the huff as I keep telling her to leave the bandage alone!

I have stack of cards to do but the moment I turn my back she is at the bandage,
and she wont settle anywhere except her bed in the kitchen.

Just as well Andrew is at home, he will keep an eye on her while I go to my appointment,
then I will be back before he goes out this afternoon.

The vet also wants Poppy to keep this dressing on till Monday!!

And to keep it dry!!
So she gave us the bag that used to contain fluids for a drip
but was out of date, so they empty fluids out and
keep bags for a make shift boot !!!
It makes a clip clop noise when she walks
and she tries to run on three paws and pull the bag off!!!
It is gonna be a long time till Monday!!!

mouse & cake

House Mouse have a color challenge:

Cameo Coral (a slight peachy pink)
Old Olive (a rich olive green)
Night of Navy (navy blue in its finest!)

Thanks Chrissie for these wee mousies!!
I smudges the leap frogging mouse's eye
and he looks a bit evil now!!

The next one is a tag for Tag you'r it.

Sugar Candy Kisses

Not sure about it.

It is for a 6 year old.
I used the Christmas tree embossing folder to make the cupcake base.
I must admit I made it after all the cold remedy's kicked in.
I think I well take it apart and have another go tomorrow.

Two little boys

Not so little any more.
F & T are two special lads.

I first met them when they were still inside their mama!
Not that they were gonna stay there as long as they were ment to!!

Happy 9th Birthday to you both!

Love to G & M as well. xx

I am really crap.....
I forgot to post their cards!!!

I have put them in the post now.

Butterfly Kisses

Am having trouble getting good lighting to take good photos just now.

But here is my latest card for Crafty Pad.

" Nice & Bright !"

Something bright and cheerful to help with post Christmas Blues!

Using " Faith blowing hearts" and set of three hearts
to make the butterflies and flower.

The flower is taking inspiration from
flowers I saw on Ruth's Blog.
My Dt teamie on Crafty Muse.

The backing paper is papermania.
Which I am loving just now.
I didn't get the butterfly body's as good as I wanted but I kinda like them.

1, 2, 3!

Hope you are all having a lovely day,
We have been waiting on someone popping into to see us.
So I stayed at home, and they never turned up!

But it ment since my house work was all done,
I could spend the afternoon

CRAFTING!!!

Woooo hooooo!

Penny Black girls are looking for us to get dotty this week!

I started off with this piece of backing paper from papermania,

and ended up with this..........

I have no idea what happened there!
The backing paper is now from the FF range....
I know I don't like those wee bears when I use them,
but I do love their backing paper pads!!
It also is my take on Sketch Saturdays Challenge #34.

One Stop Challenge wanted you to "Craft like an Egyptian!"
or any other country!
So I used two image's that Sammi sent me.
Tilda in Paris! and the Eifle tower.

It also has hearts in it so can be entered for
Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge.
The hearts are from Debbie's Faith series which are found at Crafty Pad
I am not happy about the way the "love" sentiment came out
so may have to patch that bit up tomorrow.

The last card is using wrapping paper I got on a Lush Gift Box.
It is hand made and smells yummy!
But what to use with it?
It was just too nice to throw away.

I used another image from my lovely pal Sammi,
all the way from Auz!
Can you guess which one???

And the sentiment is from my pal Trixi
who has a new blog.....go on nip over and say hello!

I used a bit of acetate to make it a springer type of thingy.
OK ,....so that's not the actual correct term for it.....
But hey ho!

Have a lovely evening xxxx
