Gift to Sammi & James

As you know Sammi, James and Brooke move away down south tomorrow.

They got married on Saturday, this is my Wedding Card to them.

The heart is from Sketching stampers that was kindly given to me by Teresa.
Thank you very much!

And as well as vouchers so they can get what they want when they are all moved into their new home.......I gave them this.

It matches in with their card.

I couldn't give it to them till after I printed off wedding photo.
I have added a tartan bow from their wedding cake and added it on to it.

Sammi's colour's were deep red and white.
That's her invitation behind the Sammi & James place cards.
I wrote them out for all the table settings at the meal,
and did two spare ones to put in here.

I am not so keen on the centre of the flowers but couldn't put the centres
I wanted in due to it being under glass.

I love this verse....not sure where I first found it.
I have used it a few times now.

Their wedding rings are platinum,
the small small hearts on the place cards &
on the invites are silver so the frame picks up on that.
The is 12 x 10 " from Asda!
I will get some more of these as they are a fine size for scrap pages.
I am not sure who makes the backing papers
but they are sliver with deep grey writing on it.

Happy Anniversary Mop & Pop

Today is Andrew's parents Wedding Anniversary
and him & his siblings call them Mop & Pop.

The images are Hamish & Maggie from Sugar Nellie.
And I think they have to be some of my fave stamps .

There are loads of new stamps coming out all the time
but I still come back to these guys time and time again.

This Kilted Hamish was one of my first ever Sugar Nellie.
Karen was telling em there are new one in the pipeline!
Woooooooooo Hooooooooooo!
The blue hearts paper was a free download,
can't think just now where from.
Ribbon was from Crafty Ribbons valentines Challenge.

And me....I am so fed up!
I thought I had the sniffles due to eating dairy last week,
I have a dairy intolerance.........but
this morning I have swollen face due to congested sinus
and another blinkin cold!!!!
Am not a happy bunny!

Am off back to bed.

take care xxx

Crafty Pad # 13

oooh I made the Crafty Pad number 13 challenge on Friday 13th !!!!

Anyhooooooooo!

This week it is a sketch challenge.
We want you to use one of Crafty Pad Stamps
and again there is a wee prize on offer!!
go look and see what my fellow DT girlies have done!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have used.....*sigh* ok, I know I have a problem ....
I am slightly over fond of these beautiful stamps...
But yes,
I have used my favourite Butterfly stamps with verse set again.
You see what happened was,
Debbie is going to be giving away free downloadable papers,
and I saw the orange one,
I rememebred I had foudn some orange vellum....
and thought.....
This is perfect for a butterfly!!!
The swirly lines behind the butterfly and text
are also a stamp from the butterfly set.
I did get a bit carried away with doodle lines on this one.
I added soem peel oss stickers of flowers
and teh sentiment is a peel off by Anita I think.
From their wedding peel offs.
I have added it using a piece of acetate
to make a springy thingy.....
Added X-cut vellum punched butterflies to the corners.
The yellow layering card is from Stampin Up.
I hope you come and join us over at crafty pad this week.
Sammi & James
I have had the amazing pleasure of knowing my
best mate Lynne's daughter Sammi
since she was a wee lassie and today....
today, I stood and watched with great pride as she became a wife!
Where did the years go to?
It seems just yesterday she was a sweet young girl
with lopsided bunches in her long hair...
and now she is all grown up!
A wife and fantastic Mummy to Beautiful Brooke & her wee baby bump.
Life has not always been easy for Sammi or Lynne.
We lost Sammi's sister Amy two years ago in a tragic car accident.
Sammi stood in the packed Church
& gave her darling sister the most heart felt emotional & amazing eulogy.
This amazing strong and inspirational young woman stood up spoke
with such love & strength that made us all so very proud!
Just two months later she held her beautiful newborn daughter
Brooke Amy in her arms,
a new mother herself but still supporting her grief struck family !
It has been a privilege to watch you grow up!
I am so lucky to have been part of your childhood!
You are someone I am now so very proud to call a friend.
I will be so sad to say goodbye as you move down to London this week.
Will miss you all very much.
Wishing you & James,
many years or love, luck, happiness & much Joy together!
Love you Sammi..!!!
house mouse man.
I am not sure about this card,
it is my male house mouse card.
I have used white core card stock that
I have buffed with a nail file.
I didn't plan to use pink on the cake....
but I think the card is still manly!
The dots and with love is a cuttle bug folder.
Am off to go finish my in laws anniversary card.
Be back soon.
Crafty Muse ~ change of seasons
Time for a new challenge over at Crafty Muse.
and seeing as we have just had a change of season
Spring or Autumn depending on which side of the world you live on
then we would like you to make a project based on that theme:
Change of Season
So since I am enjoying the start Spring this is what I made
using Angelique holding flowers.
I used the same design from card class on Tuesday.
The image matting overhangs the front page.
Papers are Bo Bunny which I love just now.
I love Spring, The promise of new life in nature.
The warmer weather.
It's all good baby!
